Receptionist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role is completely on-site and involves a range of administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities: Efficiently handle incoming packages, including receipt confirmation, notification to employees, and coordinating pickup or delivery. Undertake the responsibility of creating and managing work orders. Serve as the first point of contact for guests during events, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Proactively manage the event calendar, including coordinating cleaning services for event setup and communicating event details to employees. Issue visitor badges promptly and accurately as part of the check-in process. Manage the distribution of parking passes to visitors and employees. Utilize software tools such as Email, Outlook, Teams, and Excel for various tasks. Leverage strong customer service skills to answer multi-line phone system and respond to inquiries. Perform data entry tasks and maintain organized files. Schedule appointments and meetings as required.
