As a Senior Scientist in the Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) Search & Evaluation team, you'll lead initiatives to identify and evaluate external growth opportunities, from early-stage R&D to marketed products. This role offers opportunities for career growth, collaboration, and making a significant impact in the field of immunology.Main Responsibilities:

Lead Search and Evaluation Initiatives: Identify and assess external growth opportunities in the Inflammation & Immunology Therapeutic Area, collaborating with research, development, and commercial experts.

Due Diligence Leadership: Manage multi-disciplinary teams through due diligence processes, serving as the main contact point with potential external partners and driving internal governance.

Active Deal Projects: Propose and lead high-quality deal opportunities, manage project interfaces with corporate governance, align resources, and provide scientific input to deal structures.

Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development of the overall Immunology partnering strategy, lead advisory boards, and conduct competitive intelligence exercises in collaboration with various internal teams.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development transactions colleagues to ensure smooth progression through the deal process.

About You:

Extensive experience in immunology, with expertise in drug discovery and early clinical development. Background in dermatology, GI disorders, and/or respiratory disease is highly desirable.

Strong project management, organizational, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to lead complex evaluations of clinical stage assets.

PhD and/or MD in Immunology.

Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of navigating highly matrixed environments and influencing without authority.
