Job Description:
As a Taxi Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating taxi services during evening hours. You will ensure efficient scheduling, provide outstanding customer service, and support our drivers to deliver a seamless transportation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispatch taxi drivers to meet customer needs promptly and efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls and handle customer inquiries and bookings professionally.
- Monitor and update the status of taxi drivers using our dispatch software.
- Plan and coordinate routes to optimize efficiency and minimize wait times.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities.
- Provide support to drivers and customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven reliability and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in general computer use
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to plan and prioritize tasks.
- Previous experience in dispatching or a similar role is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
