Earthworm Inc. is a small, friendly recycling organization located in Somerville, MA. We collect electronics, paper, cardboard, and bottles & cans from businesses all over Greater Boston.
We are seeking someone who would go out on the recycling truck 2-3 days a week to assist the driver on our routes. Depending on interest and skillset, there is also the potential to help dismantle computers and prepare pallets of e-waste a few hours a week.
The schedule would be 20 hrs/week, Tues-Thurs. This is an ongoing position but we would entertain someone like a student looking for a temporary summer job too.
Minimum requirements:
· Ability to do physical work (lift up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of the truck, etc)
· Friendliness and comfort interacting with customers
· Comfort working both in a team and without much supervision
· Ability to speak, read, and write in English
· Reliability
· Eagerness to grow with a small, progressive company
