We are a small family owned start-up delivery company currently looking for a NON-CDL truck driver.
Job will be full time driver. Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with no violations for the past 3 years.
Pass drug screening
Pass health screening
Speak/Write English in order to communicate with warehouse dispatchers
Must be able to driver automatic 26' box truck w/air brakes and liftgate.
Non-CDL
Paid via 1099
We are looking for a reliable driver that will commit to working full time 5 days a week.
Daily Routine:
You will drive to a lot in Saugus to pick up the truck and leave your car in the truck spot
You will then drive to the Main Hub warehouse to pick up your manifest and pallets for deliveries
You will use a hand jack to move pallets into the truck in the order provided
You will use trucking app for gps and start all your deliveries
You might be asked to do pick ups sometimes, and those you always have to take back to the main hub
Maintain constant communication with dispatcher for any discrepancies in the deliveries
Make sure to contact all other warehouse you will deliver to to confirm they are waiting for you ready.
You'll need to be able to communicate in English with customers
Know how to write, read, and speak English in order to make deliveries
You will be a solo driver
You must keep watch on the truck for filling up daily fuel, DEF fluids, and when the shop is going for repairs the driver will be the one taking it to the shop and picking it up.
Make sure everything is working properly everyday.
