Master Diesel Mechanic
Prime Coatings is an established industrial painting contractor based out of Salisbury, Ma. We specialize in sandblasting and painting bridges. We are looking to hire a diesel mechanic to work at our shop in Salisbury and support the field operations. The position is fast-paced, and the responsibilities tend to vary daily, depending on what the field operations require to continue producing. Some of the tasks you will be expected to perform are as follows:
DIESEL MECHANIC
- Servicing all types of heavy equipment (tractors, trailers, rack trucks, loaders, etc.)
- General knowledge of gas motors
- Performing road service at various jobsites
- Must have own tools
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- You MUST be hardworking and dependable
- You MUST be able to think critically and safely about the task at hand
- You MUST be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- You MUST have a valid driver’s license
- The ability to work occasional overtime, including weekends
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS/TRAITS
- Welding and/or fabricating skills
- Hydraulic license, experience, and/or hydraulic system knowledge
- Reliable personal vehicle to carry tools and equipment
