Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R principles and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems effectively.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC units.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications during service calls.
Communicate with clients regarding system performance, repairs needed, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with team members to build efficient solutions for complex HVAC challenges.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during each job.
Skills
Proficient in maintaining various HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC/R principles and practices.
Ability to effectively use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components.
Experience in servicing boilers and other heating systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.00 - $35 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
