Key Task and Responsibilities.
Work with other departments to produce manufactured housing parts. (Windows, Sliders, Doors, Wall Panels, Milling Wood Work)
Interpret take-offs of components and assemblies for production.
Help maintain an inventory of needed parts to produce manufactured housing parts & units.
Meet production deadlines to fulfill customer/shop orders or production demand.
Review and address any quality control issues that may arise.
Promote products during customer tours of manufacturing plant.
Communicate with office staff regarding production orders.
Complete required paperwork.
Education and Experience.
Ability to read and decipher shop production orders.
Construction or manufacturing experience.
High school diploma, equivalent or above.
Key Competencies.
Understanding of Acorn Deck House building components.
Knowledge of common wood craftsmanship
Ability to plan and organize.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain patience with others.
Experience performing basic business practices such as writing and calculating.
CNC operation is a plus+
