Seeking a reliable, experienced embroiderer to operate Barudan single and multi-head embroidery machines (with and without general supervision) in the process of embroidering apparel and other products related to our production.
Position Type: Full time, 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
Operate Barudan commercial embroidery machines
Hoop and load garments onto machines
Trim, thread machines, fix needle breaks and load bobbins
Communicate with coworkers and superiors to keep each job on schedule
Recognize problems and take applicable corrective action to keep errors to a minimum
Maintain general safety standards at all times
Maintain clean and orderly work area
Accurately document and maintain embroidery production records
Responsible for reading and understanding instructions on company work orders
Skills:
Standard knowledge of embroidery
Must have experience with multi-head embroidery machines
Experience with embroidery software in order to create names, edit files as necessary, etc.
Ability to work hard, be on time and work well with others
Excellent communication and organizational skills
You should feel comfortable with basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing units of measure)
and have good reading and writing skills
Be able to demonstrate strong decision-making, analytical and time-management skills
Requirements:
Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
Ability to routinely lift up to 40 pounds throughout the day.\
Strong attention to detail
Ability to write by hand and keyboard
Weekend and overtime hours are available but not required.
