Position Summary:
This position offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge biotech research and the opportunity to work alongside experienced scientists and professionals. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in advanced computing, biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field and has a strong interest in laboratory research.
Key Responsibilities:
Biology positions: Assist in conducting laboratory experiments related to molecular biology, cell culture, protein expression, or genetic engineering.
Computing positions: Assist in developing programs to assist drug discovery.
Prepare buffers, media, reagents, and other lab materials.
Perform routine techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, and microscopy.
Record and analyze data; maintain accurate and detailed lab notebooks.
Assist in maintaining lab equipment and ensuring lab safety protocols are followed.
Participate in group meetings and present findings as needed.
Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research projects.
Qualifications:
Track record of achievement and excellence
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s or Ph.D program in Advanced computing, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of molecular biology and laboratory techniques or computing.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Prior lab experience (academic or industry) is preferred but not required.
