About the Role:
In this dual role, you’ll be responsible for managing returned customer shipments and assisting with the appraisal of precious metal items, including gold, silver, and platinum jewelry. You’ll work hands-on with high-value materials and contribute to a team that values integrity, efficiency, and great communication. On the job training will be provided.
What You'll Do:
- Receive and process returned customer items accurately and efficiently
- Conduct visual inspections and basic appraisals of precious metal jewelry and other items
- Work with our appraisal team to evaluate and document item details
- Package and prepare items for return shipment to customers
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and return status
- Communicate with customer service as needed to ensure smooth resolution of returns
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in jewelry appraisal, pawnbroking, or precious metal evaluation is a strong plus
- Comfortable handling small, high-value items with care and attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and follow established procedures
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commute to our office in [City]
- Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
