Job Description:
Our small family-owned accounting firm is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for the upcoming tax busy season (February – April). The ideal candidate has experience scanning documents, organizing/uploading physical and electronic files, and assembling/mailing instructional packages.
Responsibilities:
Receiving mail, scanning documents, assembling and mailing packages (in office)
Updating process management software (online)
Updating reports/trackers (Excel)
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
English-speaking
High-school diploma
Previous experience as an administrative or executive assistant preferred
Excellent organization and communication skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft product suite
Ability to learn software systems
Compensation:
Rate: $30/hr. paid weekly as a contractor (will receive a Form 1099)
Hours: 2-4 hours/day, 3-4 days/week
Flexibility: decide your own hours (e.g., morning/afternoon, week/weekend)
This job requires you to be in the office (not remote).
