Job Summary: Accounts Payable Candidate with experience. An individual with the minimum of an Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting would be the ideal candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
Hands on position responsible for assuring payments are processed timely and accurately
Organizing invoices for payment, matching with corresponding backup and checking for approvals
Code invoices, review historical payment, process for timely payment
Very detailed data entry into SAGE 100 accounting system
Navigate around in home grown software and research items for payment
Take phone calls from vendors and employees looking for payment
Organizational skills to multitask, prioritize and understand payables cycle and timeline
Assist other accounting staff as needed filing, sorting mail, etc.
Operate office equipment, including adding machine, copy machine, postage machine, etc.
Other related accounting and office duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Team player a must, but also someone who can work independently
Good attitude and someone who wants to come to work every day
Must pay attention to details, have organizational skills and complete daily tasks
Good communication and grammar skills to interact and communicate with all levels of management, staff and vendors
Have performed or feel they can complete with some training the job responsibilities above
An individual with the minimum of an Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
Excel knowledge to be able to modify, sort and pivot table data
Car highly recommended as the location is not easy to access by public transportation
