Meals on Wheels Lead Driver - Part Time

Our Newton meals on wheels program is looking for an individual to join our team as a Lead Driver. As the Lead Driver you will be coordinating the receiving and distribution of approximately 250 meals per day to our team of employees and volunteers along with delivering a meal route yourself.

This part time position (25 hours/wk, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm) offers $20.00/hour and is a benefit eligible position which includes paid holiday, sick and vacation time. Mileage reimbursement is also provided.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is flexible, detail oriented, and enjoys a fast-paced work setting. Knowledge of the geographical area and comfortable working with computer applications preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A reliable car, current driver's license, and safe driving record required.

Must be able to lift 25lbs.

Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with elders.

Some experience with elders, preferred.

Knowledge of geographic area a plus.
