Emmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill, MA, is seeking a part-time Shelter Kitchen Helper who will bring care and compassion and dedicate their time to assisting with cooking and serving at Mitch’s Place (Emergency Shelter). These efforts are vital to ensuring that our shelter guests feel welcome and valued.
Emmaus is willing to provide training and support to help the right person to grow into the job.
Duties:
· Assist with meal preparation for 40 + guests that adhere to high food quality and nutrition standards.
· Assist with meal serving, including plating meals, distributing beverages, and serving desserts for 40+ guests
· Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized serving area and kitchen, including dishwashing
Requirements of the Part-Time Kitchen Helper:
· Valid Driver’s License
· Must be able to pass CORI and driving records check
· Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
