As a Shop Worker and Driver for a local Ironworking construction company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations both in the shop and on the road. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Shop Duties:
Assisting with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and storing construction materials and equipment.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
Assisting mechanics and other shop personnel with various tasks as needed.
Performing basic equipment maintenance under supervision.
2. Driver Duties:
Safely transporting materials, equipment, and tools to and from job sites.
Ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company safety regulations while driving company vehicles.
Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites.
Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
3. Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
