Come join our overnight crew to support the cleaning, packing, and delivery needs of our wholesale program and production bakery. A&J King Artisan Bakers is looking for a combination overnight delivery packer and dishwasher to work at our production facility in Salem. We're a family owned, award-winning, 17-year old bakery that is looking for reliable third shift help. Great for night owls and workers looking for off-hours employment.
We're looking for someone who can commit reliably to these overnight hours, is trustworthy, and hard working. Must be able to get along in a team atmosphere. No Drama Kings/Queens, please.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist in packing, consolidation, and organization of product going out for delivery
-Slice breads and bag up product for wholesale
- Hand wash/rinse/sanitize baking pans, small wares, and equipment in a large well equipped three bay Powersoak Sink.

- Tidy up, sweep, clean, mop at end of shift
-Arriving on time ready to work overnight is important for this time sensitive packing job.
This is an on your feet job and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is required.
DAYS/HOURS:
-We are looking to fill week night and weekend shifts. 2-3 shifts per week on a static schedule with opportunities to cover shifts.
- 10pm - 5-6am - this is an OVERNIGHT shift
COMPENSATION: All employees are paid a base wage (no less than minimum wage) and and additional bonus per paycheck which varies depending on how busy the bakery is. Right now, that bonus adds an additional $3.00+ per hour to each employee's paycheck. So, for example, employees making $15 per hour are taking home $18+ per hour.
