Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Mold Contractor to perform professional mold inspections, testing, remediation, and prevention services across residential and commercial properties. This role is essential to maintaining health and safety standards for clients dealing with mold contamination and moisture intrusion. The ideal candidate must be licensed, experienced, and capable of working onsite across multiple states (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct mold inspections, testing, and assessments using proper sampling methods.
Identify and address moisture sources contributing to mold growth.
Develop and implement remediation plans following EPA, OSHA, and IICRC S520 standards.
Safely remove, contain, and dispose of mold-affected materials and debris.
Operate air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, and negative air machines.
Follow containment protocols to avoid cross-contamination.
Maintain detailed documentation including before/after photos, scope of work, and remediation reports.
Communicate project scope, timelines, and findings with clients and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with local and state licensing and environmental regulations.
Travel to and work onsite in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut as needed.
Requirements:
Active and valid Mold Remediation License (per state requirements).
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in mold remediation and moisture control.
Familiarity with applicable regulations and remediation protocols (EPA, OSHA, IICRC S520).
Ability to read lab reports and moisture mapping.
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel across multiple states.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, wear full PPE, and work in tight/confined or elevated spaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
IICRC AMRT Certification (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician).
Water damage restoration experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus.
