Housekeeper needed Monday, Thursday and Saturday, average 3 hours per day, start at 10am or at 11am. Work from April 11until Dec 1st, for seasonal guesthouse on Jones Hill. Sewing/mending skills strongly preferred. Location near Edward Everett Elementary School, you can also walk from Savin Hill Station or from Uphams Corner area. Duties include: Cleaning guest suites, other rooms and common areas (eg vacuum, mop, dust, scrub, make beds, cycle laundry, maintain and organize supplies). If you want more hours or to work on more days, some simple outdoor tasks also available (eg weeding, cutting grass, water plants, leaf or snow removal, simple maintenance such as painting a doorwe can train on these). Let us know what your experience is, including unpaid housekeeping experience that involved many of the tasks above. You must be able to work at least Thursday and Saturday; Monday can be changed. We may be able to provide work on more than three days, or longer hours, if you are able and willing to do the listed outdoor tasks efficiently. Work shift averages 3 hours per day (sometimes 4, rarely 2) so it would be ideal for some one who lives within 5 or 10 minutes travel from Savin Hill/Jones Hill/Uphams Corner. You must be available to work Saturday and Thursday at a minimum.
Our guests include children, so a clean CORI check is required. The job is seasonal, that is more hours May through the end of October, and fewer hours November through April.
