At Lamacchia Landscape Construction, we specialize in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our landscaping team and help bring our clients' visions to life.
Job Description:
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy and light equipment to assist with landscaping projects. This includes grading, trenching, loading, excavation, and site prep for landscaping installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, and other landscape equipment
Assist with landscape installations (hardscaping, planting, irrigation)
Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections
Follow job site safety protocols and company procedures
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to spec
Transport equipment to and from job sites (CDL a plus but not required)
Requirements:
Proven experience operating landscaping or construction equipment
Valid driver’s license
DOT card
Hoisting License 2A/1C- a plus
Strong understanding of job site safety and equipment maintenance
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
