We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Shoring and Lagging Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in excavation support, specifically with soldier pile and lagging systems. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and remove shoring systems, including soldier piles, timber lagging, and other support structures.
- Assist with excavation work and ensure proper support for trench walls and foundation pits.
- Operate hand and power tools used in shoring and lagging operations.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from work areas.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Work as part of a crew under the supervision of a foreman or superintendent.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shoring and lagging or related excavation support systems.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work long hours or weekends, as needed.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
Pay Range: $20/hr. - $24/hr.
