We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced property manager who is fluent in both Portuguese and English to join our team. This position offers around $30 per hour for 40 hours per week and requires a versatile individual with carpentry expertise and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Carpentry: Proficiency in carpentry work, including but not limited to:
‣ Managing other carpenters
‣ Changing locks
‣ Making and repairing window screens
‣ Patching and painting walls
‣ Demonstrating an eye for fine finish details on apartment flips
Tenant Communication: Effectively communicate with tenants to address maintenance issues, schedule repairs, and ensure tenant satisfaction.
Material Procurement: Must have a reliable vehicle to drive to Home Depot and other stores to purchase materials needed for property maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
Fluent in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
Demonstrated experience in carpentry work, including managing other carpenters and maintaining high-quality standards in finish details.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle for transportation.
Willingness to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
