Assistant for VP of People & Accounting Professional

We are looking for a motivated individual with a history of high performance and delivering results to support a VP working for two organizations. This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple requests. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, skilled at problem-solving with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure, and humor. The position is part-time primarily remote with a few days a month in the office to handle administrative tasks. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical.

Areas of responsibility:

- Manage calendar and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion

- Coordinate Office and Personal Projects for VP (Renovation Projects)

- Organize, execute, and assist with HR/People activities: (9 Box Initiatives, Updates to Trello Boards, Corp Book Club, Compliance Schedules, Executive Training and More)

- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

- Coordinate the Youth Financial Literacy Courses via various social media and enrollment site.

- Work with Real Estate, Bankers, and Investment Professionals to assist the procurement of investment opportunities

- Administrative duties to support our paperless environment

- Have fun at work and help others do the same!

Basic Qualifications

- Experience providing office or administrative support

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel or Google Apps

- Demonstrated experience in handling confidential information with high levels of integrity and discretion

- Experience dealing with professionals inside and outside the company

- Coordination with key stakeholders to execute on projects

- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Positive, proactive, and able to have fun at work and help others do the same

- Grace under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moments notice

- Ability to handle administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed

- Ability to utilize sound business judgment

- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
