Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. The Prep Cook will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients for menu items
- Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate food production
Experience
- Prior experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and cooking procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar role is a plus
- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
