Hiring for full-time front of house shift manager at Third Cliff in JP. We're a neighborhood shop with a small-but-mighty team. Looking to add a shift manager to expand current leadership team (owner/baker and operations manager) and grow potential heading into busy season.

Expectations for shift manager at Third Cliff:
Shift manager is responsible for overseeing daily cafe operations and helping our folks provide excellent service in an efficient and timely manner (ex. Gathering and relaying daily pre-shift information between FOH & BOH teams, performing expo and service support, supporting FOH team completing pre-opening and closing checklists)
Shift manager acts as communication bridge between front and back of house – relaying timing and information, liaising with back of house to manage service flow
Shift manager works with operations and kitchen managers to maintain inventory and log operations notes in order to keep systems running smoothly
Expectations of Applicants:
- available to work 5 shifts a week (roughly 35 hours) Wed-Sun.
- enthusiastic, capable of maintaining a positive professional attitude under pressure, and have experience directly managing in a food space
- must have experience in food service with a strong preference for espresso experience
