Dryft Revere is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to oversee all BOH kitchen operations with minimal oversight, working directly with our Executive Chef. The CDC will manage a team in an extremely high-volume, fast-paced environment while ensuring food quality, consistency, and efficiency. This role requires a strong leader capable of taking charge of day-to-day kitchen operations, including food cost control, inventory management, and ensuring exceptional execution.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Supervise and develop kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and a culture of accountability.
Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu execution, bringing creative dishes to life with precision.
Manage food costs, maintain inventory, and develop strategies to enhance profitability while preserving quality.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages development and professional growth.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and a superior guest experience.
Analyze kitchen performance, optimize workflows, and monitor financial performance for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or in a similar leadership role, particularly in an extremely high-volume environment.
Strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities, with a focus on professional development.
Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and optimizing kitchen operations.
Ability to execute menu concepts from the Executive Chef, ensuring consistency and quality.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
