The team behind Molinari’s is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef for our new concept opening in Dedham Square this summer! The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume upscale casual environment, a dedicated professional able to lead a team with culinary professionalism and enthusiasm fitting one of Boston’s established concepts.

What you will do:

Lead the BOH team; inspiring them to execute the highest level of standard set forth by the Chef/Owner, upholding and elevating the culinary expectation of excellence, hospitality, and cleanliness

Manage daily kitchen operations; including but not limited to - scheduling, ordering (managing the process already in place), and maintaining the proper level of food and labor costs, promoting success of the business, its guests and employees

Foster a culture of kitchen professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement; always learning, focusing on the hospitality goals of the business as a collective

Who we are looking for:

5-7+ years kitchen experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role

Knowledge of Italian cuisine a plus, but not required

Ability to retain composure and decorum in high-pressure circumstances

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, seamless management of a kitchen environment

Detail of Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

Implement SOP’s - detailing standards of performance, policies, and procedures

Ensure the highest level of food safety management in adherence with health dept requirements

Oversee inventory, ordering, and receiving - a driven focus on changing demands in business and financial goals

QC and eye on integrity for all plated items that leave the kitchen

Train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team. Utilize their different skills and personalities to the benefit of the business and their own professional growth and enrichment

Collaborate effectively and respectively with other management and owners in the assistance of providing optimal service experience to guests and the respectful communication to all in-house staff

This is a cooking Head Chef position, you will be an active member of the line

Benefits: Medical, Paid Vacations, Additional Time off in July / Monday Holidays off

Salary: Beginning at $75,000

Job-Type: Full-time w/ Weekends and Weeknights
