Special Projects Engineer

The Special Projects Engineer is expected to work on unique or complex Engineering projects that require specialized knowledge and skills as assigned by the Director of Engineering.Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include adhering to the proper dress code and wearing name tag while working.Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Make repairs to air conditioners – change filters, clean coils, replace blower motors, etc.Successfully complete projects as assigned by management, including but not limited to:Collecting readings and water samplesTest tower water and record data.Perform furniture repairsRespond to room maintenance callsPerform plumbing repairs – open clogged drains, change FET washers, stems seats, cartridges, handles, drain fittings, etc.Replace lavatories and toiletsRepair and finish sheetrock.Repair kitchen equipment.
