Follow established protocols and ensure accuracy in reagent preparation and reaction conditions.· Purification: Perform purification of oligonucleotides using techniques such as FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). Monitor purification processes to achieve high-quality results.· Analysis: Conduct analytical assays to verify the quality and identity of synthesised oligonucleotides using LC-MS.· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results. Ensure all documentation is compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.· Lab Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.· Collaboration: Work closely with senior chemists and other team members to support ongoing projects. Contribute to problem-solving discussions.Qualifications:· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 1-2 years’ experience or Master’s degree with 0-1 years’ experience.· Skills:o Basic understanding of organic chemistry and chemical synthesis.o Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment.o Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.o Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and conveying technical information clearly.o Hands on experience in solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis is a plus.· Attributes:o Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.o Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.o Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.Position isfull time, Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pmCandidates currently living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA are encouraged to apply.Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options.
