Data & Business Analyst

We are hiring a detail-oriented and data-driven Data & Business Analyst to support our client, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS). In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that shape operational and strategic decisions. You’ll be responsible for analyzing business data, developing reports and dashboards, and supporting project execution through effective communication and data modeling.Key Responsibilities:Analyze business processes and requirements to support decision-making and continuous improvement.Gather, model, and interpret complex data sets from multiple sources, identifying trends and actionable insights.Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot Tables, DAX).Automate data flows by connecting Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint Online) to Power BI dashboards.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.Contribute to survey design, data collection, and stakeholder interviews to support business analysis efforts.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis.Support project execution and documentation using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.Partner with senior team members to achieve project goals and ensure client satisfaction.
