The individual is expected to reside in the Boston District.Supports execution of the Bank's business continuity management (BCM) and compliance programs, primarily focused on business continuity and resilience. This includes promoting overall organizational preparedness and resilience and assisting in the development and maintenance of crisis management and business continuity plans and procedures and planning guidance for the Bank's business functions. The successful candidate will collaborate with business functions and various levels of management to ensure effective and appropriate planning and testing as well as contribute to ensuring readiness of contingency plans and equipment, in conjunction with IT, facilities, and law enforcement staff. This position reports to the Business Continuity and Compliance Director within the Corporate Strategy & Risk department.  Principal Accountabilities 

Assist with the following: 

Developing business continuity planning guidance for Bank business functions. 

Participating in the Bank’s business impact analysis (BIA) processes. 

Providing ongoing consultation and assessment of business continuity plans against internal Bank and Federal Reserve System guidance and industry best practices.  

Maintaining software used to support business continuity activities, trainingemployeesand ensuring systems are accessible.  

Execution of the Bank's crisis management program, including contributing to the design and execution of awareness sessions, crisis communications tests, planning workshops and tabletop exercises

Participate in the Bank's crisis management processes during incidents, which may require being on-site during incidents or working extended hours 

Collaborate with continuity planning representatives from the Bank's business functions to assist in supporting the design, development, maintenance and testing of business continuity plans, especially for the most critical functional areas of the organization.  

Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

Participate in business continuity programs with Federal Reserve System and external (Federal, state, and local) partners.

Assist with other priorities and various initiatives across the Risk, Resilience and Compliance team.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience 

Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum 3 years of job-related experience.  

Effective verbal and written communications skills, including presentation capabilities.  

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and/or projects in a fast-paced, environment. 

Self-starter with good problem-solving skills, curious-minded, and comfortable asking questions. 

Strong time-management, attention to detail and project management skills.   

Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, with an ability to excel in working with a diverse group of colleagues, senior management and other stakeholders. 

Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SharePoint knowledge is a plus.
