The OpportunityBoston Bruins is hiring Community Relations and Youth Hockey Interns to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts for the Fall 2024 season As a Community Relations and Youth Hockey Intern, you will assist community relations staff with daily activities and projects.Are you an energetic undergraduate or graduate student who’s seeking an incredible paid internship program?Boston Bruins internships are paid and can be completed for academic credit. Create promotional ideas and events for current and potential community relations strategies and sponsors
Write event recaps and maintain a comprehensive record of media clips that cover Boston Bruins special events
Assist at team signings, events, and appearances and serve as a liaison by responding to fan requests in a timely manner
Manage team-related databases including those related to donations, charities, programs, and events
Keep inventory of all signed and premium items, and ensure storage units are organized
Qualifications
Current undergraduate student or pursuing a graduate degree
Must have a flexible schedule to work events and additional community activities when needed, and availability to come in to the corporate office at least twice a week
Excellent copy-writing skills and knowledge of the Boston Bruins, the National Hockey League, hockey culture, and hockey fans
Experience working with schools and children preferred
Previous experience playing hockey preferred

Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform occasional manual labor
