Preschool Director

Description:

A Learning Hub works closely in conjunction with Behavioral Connections (Applied Behavior Analysis Services). This is an integrated toddler/preschool. The director will be closely working with Behavior Technicians as well as Board Certified Behavior Analysts. A Learning Hub was closed in 2021 due to covid. The Director will be integral with reopening the two rooms in accordance with the EEC's rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for early childhood education.

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom.

- Create engaging activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.

- Use effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff.

- Implement early intervention strategies to support children with special needs or developmental delays.

- Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and create a structured learning environment.

- Maintain classroom management by establishing routines, rules, and expectations.

- Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.

- Attend professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred.

- Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting.

- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.

- Familiarity with literacy education techniques for young children.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.

- Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs or behavioral challenges is a plus.

- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate:

$28 Hourly rate or $60,000 salary to get paperwork completed and room(s) set-up.

Once toddler room and preschool room open and at capacity we’ll increase pay to 65K salary.

Pro-rated Holiday pay: 12 paid Holidays

Year 1= vacation 2 weeks, PTO 1 day, Birthday 1 day, sick 1 week = 17 days

2 years= vacation 2 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 2 week, PTO 2 = 21 days

3 years= vacation 2 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 2-week, PTO 3= 22 days

4 years= vacation 3 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 2-week, PTO 3= 29 days

5 years= vacation 3 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 3-week, PTO 3= 34 days

6 years= vacation 3 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 3-week, PTO 3= 34 days

7 years= vacation 4 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 3-week, PTO 3= 39 days

8 years and every year after = vacation 4 weeks, birthday 1 day, sick 4-week PTO 3=44 days
