Full time opportunity for an energetic, upbeat lead teacher in a well established child care center in Gloucester, MA.
Large group child care center that has been continuously owned and operated by the same owner for over 30 years is looking for a full time, year round, lead teacher with opportunity to grow into an assistant director role. School has an infant\toddler room, one preschool room and one pre-k room and established teachers who have been with the school for numerous years.
-Lead teacher responsibilities will include developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
-Collaborate with other teachers on theme based projects, and working with the director on the social, emotional, and educational progress of the children.
-Classroom management skills are critical in this role.
-The lead teacher will also document and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s development
Pay is commensurate with experience.
