Truck Equipment Counter/Sales Representative
We are currently seeking to hire a successful Customer Service Representative with a proven track record and a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. Truck Equipment and/or mechanic knowledge a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product features in a professional and courteous manner
Answer phones
Ability to process sales through point-of-sale computer system
Input new items, pricing, and descriptions
Routinely check open order report for open order fulfillment
Monitor inventory levels and parts to maintain proper inventory levels and process incoming stock
Process returns on materials to vendors, from packaging to ensuring credit is received
Contribute to a positive work environment
Replenish stock products from warehouse location to the assigned counter location
Maintain merchandise displays
Provide excellent customer service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
Build lasting relationships with customers always focusing on long term growth
Monitors market conditions, competitor’s products, and pricing
Keep showroom in clean condition
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of computer applications
Knowledge of trailer and snow plow parts
Proficient telephonic communications
Strong organization and time management skills
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work from a standing position for numerous hours of the day.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Past experience in truck equipment industry a plus
Basic mechanical ability
Pay: $50,000 Yearly
