I am a professional dog trainer with over 30 years of experience working with dogs that have the most challenging of behavior issues. I have been extremely successful as a trainer and also with my dog training businesses. I have also trained some of the most successful trainers in the industry, in fact, one of my former students and employees had her business featured on an episode of National Geographic's "The Dog Whisperer". (Titled: "Anger Management")
We are looking for someone to help us operate an established professional dog behavior training business/brand in the Boston area. This person will be interested in becoming a trainer, and helping us provide the most comprehensive and reliable dog training program available anywhere. The support you will receive is world-class and unmatched.
This is not a "job" but an opportunity to own part of your own business, WITHOUT the associated financial investment. Other than the time you need to invest to go through the training, there are NO COSTS TO YOU. This is not an internship, or a training situation, and once again, there is not a cost or fee associated with this opportunity. This is not a franchise.
You do not need to have prior dog training experience, as I will provide all the training and ongoing support you will need to be successful. I am not looking for someone to work for me, but with me and my team of trainers. We are successfully offering training, using our reward-based training protocol in over 30 US markets, and our trainers are among the most professionally referred in their communities.
Besides obviously being a dog lover, the right person will:
- Be entrepreneurial-minded.
- Be an extremely motivated self-starter.
- Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Enjoy working with PEOPLE.
- Have above-average problem solving skills
- Have reliable transportation
- Be comfortable using a computer and cloud-based applications.
As I mentioned, I will provide all the training you will need, but this training is pretty intense. You will need to be available to come to training, in Washington, DC in mid September. (Accommodations are provided) There is also in extensive amount of studying you will need to do prior to this on your own, which will take a minimum of 30 days, as well as online training, prior to your arrival for hand's on training. I will provide you with the textbooks you'll need, and a comprehensive study guide.
