We are looking for an experienced income tax preparer/accountant with good QuickBooks knowledge. You must understand how to prepare Profit & Loss statements for small business tax returns. You must be able to interface with clients over the phone, by e-mail and face to face, to gather and assess information in order to complete personal and small business tax returns. This is a part time position.
This work is mostly seasonal between February 10 through April 15. But additional part-time work will be required between May and October as tax work comes in, and to complete extended tax returns. This job is ideal for a retired or semi-retired individual who has previously worked with income tax preparation and bookkeeping. The work will be done from an office in Methuen, Mass.
