A Day in Your Life at MKS: We are looking for an exceptional Network Engineer who will work with a team that is responsible for the full lifecycle development and support of daily operations of the MKS global IT network infrastructure. Experience working in a large multisite and international IT networking environment is a requirement. The team is looking for a candidate that has the aptitude for a wide variety of responsibilities that enjoys a dynamic and challenging environment.You Will Make an Impact By:

Collaborate with Cybersecurity team to design, engineer and implement changes inside the MKS network infrastructure

Strong understanding of network security principles

Manage the MKS Palo Alto firewall and Panorama management environment

Manage the MKS router/switch/wireless infrastructure

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to technology changes

Provide third level support and troubleshooting to our managed service provider who provides day-to-day support

Assist in day-to-day support of routers, switches, firewalls, and tools used by the network operations team

Technical project work including coordinating implementations with MKS business partners and stakeholders

Analyze and recommend architectures and designs to improve the existing MKS network environment

Research new technologies to help MKS select the correct tools and solutions in our environment and assist in deployment

Mentor level 1 and 2 network operations staff to reduce escalations

Ability to create documentation for critical projects, audits and Cybersecurity initiatives

Skills You Bring:

Minimum 8+ years’ experience working in network environments utilizing network technologies like Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Palo Alto, etc

Experience with upgrading large network environments with utilization of “remote hands” or similar

Experience with Aruba Networks route/switch/Wireless solutions or similar

Experience with Fortinet and/or Palo Alto firewalls in a large enterprise environment or similar

Experience coming up with solutions to reduce network downtime and improving end user experience

Experience working within a global enterprise environment supporting the networking needs of multiple corporate offices in different countries and regions.

Network skills to include some/ most of the following: TCP/IP, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, IPSec VPN), Layer2/3 switching and VLAN configuration, firewall security policy

WAN and SDWAN provisioning and optimization experience

Experience with network management tools such as Aruba ClearPass, Cisco Umbrella, Infoblox, NetBrain desired ​
