Installer/Field Tech Encompass Door & Awning Division JOB SCOPE: The successful candidate will be responsible for installation and service of garage doors, overhead doors, Roll up doors, awnings and screens. These will be residential, as well as commercial, applications on both new construction and remodels that often require customization in the field. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating the required maintenance of the company vehicle and the company tools. Other duties will include maintaining and monitoring general supply levels, warehouse receiving, material deliveries and providing support to other divisions within Encompass Enterprises. The candidate MUST carry themselves as the face of the company. This position is considered to be a career position with opportunities within the company for advancement,. Experience: ● Valid license and clean driving record ● 3+ years experience in garage door installation, repair and maintenance of Commercial door systems a plus (sectional, rolling steel, fire doors, high speed doors, and dock equipment. ● Willingness to train and lead team members as needed ● Ability to lift 75 plus pounds, climb a ladder and use basic hand tools ● Familiar with OSHA safety rules and best practices ● Excellent customer service, and organizational skills ● Ability to understand root causes of technical situations ● Strong verbal communication skills along with active listening ● Experience with Houzz Pro a plus ● Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types ● Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively ● High school degree ● Ability to pass background screening and drug test Compensation ● Company Vehicle ● Accrued 1 week PTO/ year ● Paid Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) ● Salary Commensurate with Experience and responsib
