Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced 6th Grade Math Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for teaching. You will be responsible for delivering personalized tutoring sessions, creating engaging lesson plans, and tracking student progress.
Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for 6th grade math students.
Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on each student’s needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Assist students with homework, test preparation, and study strategies.
Stay current with educational best practices and curriculum standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly with middle school students.
Strong understanding of 6th grade math concepts and curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
