Job DescriptionWhat's it like to work for the Battery Technology Center (BTC)? We are a small group of engineers, engineering technologists, technicians, and additional support staff dedicated to delivering for our customer on a variety of power solutions projects.The Logistics Analyst I position will require the following key duties:
Provide inventory database management support for all government-furnished materials and equipment (GFM/GFE), including accurate logging/tracking/issuing materials in support of various customer projects
Provide warehouse storage support for all government materials, including proper storage and labeling of all materials
Identify and analyze trends in material use and needs and provide recommendations for material purchases, particularly for electrochemical cells/batteries
Coordinate with the test and engineering managers to make recommendations for disposal and/or replacement of GFM/GFE
Support shipping/receiving efforts to effectively meet the customer's requirements
Support inventory report requirements on a quarterly and annual basis, including any ad hoc requests from the customer
Monitor and control internal/external calibration services for all test equipment, e.g. environmental chambers, test equipment, etc., including maintaining accurate internal/external calibration service records, scheduling routine system maintenance efforts for equipment, and escorting calibration technicians while on-site, as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
