Your Impact:We are seeking an Information Security Analyst - Advanced for a prime contract based out of St. Inigoes, MD. In this key role you will provide subject matter expertise in system security requirements, design security architecture, and develop a security design for program platforms. You will serve as a functional expert for planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of complex DoD communication systems and networks. You will provide advanced knowledge of IA policy or technical cybersecurity solutions necessary to assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safe operation of complex DoD communication systems and networks.The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Our program includes easily available process information and support for subordinates across the team.Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of complex DoD communication systems and networks.
Assess IA posture of DoD communications systems and networks in support of system certification and accreditation.
Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies for both existing and in the design and development phase of NCR communications systems and networks. .
Oversee the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards including DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems, Intelligence Community Directive Number 705, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Number 503, Intelligence Community Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management, Certification and Accreditation.
Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies for potential integration into multiple enterprise communication systems.
Perform penetration testing, cyber forensics, and system security engineering to develop mitigation strategies that reduce risk for communication systems and networks with a high cyber-attack risk.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
IAT III Certification
US Citizen with an active TS clearance and SCI eligibility
At least five (5) years must have specialized experience including system security analysis and implementation.
RMF experience, design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems.
Integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems is required.
Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.
There will be minimum requirements for travel away from home base.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
Preferred:
Experience in heterogeneous computer networking technology and work in protocol and/or interface standards specification is preferred.
Should have experience working with the XACTA IA Manager.
Should be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
Should be committed to continuous learning and system development because of the constant developing nature of cyber-attacks.
Should have the ability to quickly learn new concepts, data formats, and software.
Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
