Your Impact:We are seeking a Senior Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technologist for a prime contract based out of St. Inigoes, MD. In this key role you will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions.The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Our program includes easily available process information and support for subordinates across the team.Responsibilities:
Oversees the application of engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, or related data processing systems for DoD communication systems, public- safety radio systems, meshed radios, networks and associated support equipment or components.
Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares, or applies engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information.
Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.
Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results.
Provides subject matter expertise on the operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DoD and public-safety communications systems.

Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years with Masters Degree or 14 years with Bachelors
At least five (5) years must be in performing the identified function related to DoD communication systems or networks
At least five (5) of the ten (10) years must include performing the identified functions on Project-25 compatible public-safety radio communications sites and systems. (experience may be concurrent)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Crestron Certification
US Citizen with an active TS clearance and SCI eligibility
Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements.
Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.
There will be minimum requirements for travel away from home base.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, computer science, or an IT discipline.
Should be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
Prior military experience is a 'preference' for this customer.
Should be committed to continuous learning and system development because of the constant developing nature of cyber-attacks.
Should have the ability to quickly learn new concepts, data formats, and software.
Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
