Quality Control Area Engineer - Structures

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Area Engineer - Structures to join our team in the North East region of the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in structural engineering projects, overseeing inspections, and maintaining compliance with building codes and regulations.Develop and implement quality control procedures for structural engineering projectsConduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and specificationsReview and analyze structural designs, drawings, and calculations for accuracy and complianceIdentify and resolve quality issues, recommending corrective actions as neededCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain quality throughout the project lifecyclePrepare detailed quality control reports and documentationStay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and best practices in structural engineeringParticipate in project meetings and provide expert advice on quality control mattersTrain and mentor junior team members on quality control processes and techniques
