Sr. Accountant (Financial Reporting)

Description I am pleased to announce an exciting opportunity on behalf of our well-respected client in Montgomery County. They are actively on the lookout for an experienced Financial Reporting Senior with a strong background in SEC reporting. Please note, having SEC reporting experience is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.The ideal candidate for this role will be someone transitioning from a similar corporate role, or an individual making a move from public accounting. The selected candidate will be playing an instrumental role in assisting with the quarterly and annual Ks and Qs. They will also be required to assist with Sox documentation and will need to effectively research and document the application of new accounting pronouncements.Alongside these responsibilities, a key aspect of the role includes the analysis of complex areas of the financials such as equity, EPS, impairments, and consolidations.We appreciate and value the power of connection and we believe in finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
