Job Description:The Red Team Operator uses a wide variety of methods and tools to help find vulnerabilities and weaknesses in a system(s) including adversary simulations, black box penetration testing, and assumed breach scenarios to generate recommendations for vulnerability findings. The operator must have experience with cyber exploitation techniques involving initial access, execution, persistence, privilege escalation, defense evasion, credential access, lateral movement, collection, exfiltration, command and control, and device hacking. The Red Team Operator will apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise for threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and persistent penetration testing cyber campaigns. The successful candidate must be capable of working without considerable direction, as well as mentor and supervise team members, as needed. Required Skills:
7+ years of experience in managing Penetration Test and Red Teaming assessments.
T-4 Public Trust clearance is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is desired.
OSCP or C|EH certified
Experience with conducting offensive security testing
Experience with conducting Red or Purple teaming exercises
Experience with using, administering, and troubleshooting, including Kali and Ubuntu as an attack platform
Experience working in a Windows environment and with Active Directory attack path enumeration
Experience with social engineering tactics, including phishing
Experience with developing, extending, or modifying exploits, shellcode, or exploit tools
Experience with C2 frameworks, including Cobalt Strike, Covenant, or Sliver
Knowledge of network vulnerability assessments, Web application security testing, network penetration testing, red teaming, security operations, mobile applications, API’s, Cloud hosted applications, Containers, and on-prem data centers.
Experience with working in a commercial consulting or professional services environment
Experience with assembly languages, including x86 or reverse engineering
Experience deploying attacker infrastructure in cloud environments
Experience in network penetration testing and manipulation of network infrastructure
Experience in mobile or web application assessments
In-depth working knowledge of security testing of web application, mobile applications, APIs, Cloud hosted application, Containers and on-prem data centers.
Performs qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
Maintains regular contact with teams to manage remediation and advise as required.
Demonstrated experience in designing, planning, executing, and reporting findings of security assessments.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, and excellent computer proficiency.
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service.
