Survey Party Chief / Crew Chief

AECOM is seeking a dependable and organized Survey Party Chief / Crew Chief for our Hunt Valley, MD office. This individual will work on a wide variety of transportation projects throughout Maryland and the surrounding States.Summary:Manage and perform field survey crew day to day operationsMaintain schedule and budget requirements of assigned tasksMonitor and maintain survey equipment assigned to crewCoordinate and interact with survey team, chief of surveys, project managers and clientsParticipate in QA/QC process of survey field effortsPerform SHA and public sector workWill work on ALTA/NSPS Land Title SurveysWill perform topographic and metes and bounds surveysWill establish control networks with various methodologiesWill work with robotic total stations, GPS equipment and Leica ScannersPerform "bookwork" and maintain accurate field recordsWork on roadway, highway and similar projectsThis role will be responsible for driving you and your crew to job sites and will keep track of company vehicle mileage and maintenanceMay be asked to perform out of town work at times.  Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.Work occasional night shifts as needed for specific projects
