Sassafras, a small fine dining, supper club style restaurant, is seeking help at the Chestertown Farmer's Market. Ideally the applicant would be able to transport goods to and from the farmers market (coolers/folding table/tent), though we are flexible. Applicant is required to be able to operate the stand alone, be knowledgeable about the products, and represent the business well. Hours are Saturday mornings roughly 6AM-1PM (includes set-up/breakdown, and transportation time to and from the restaurant located in Betterton, MD). This is an entry level position (some experience in relative fields is requiredwe are flexible).
We are the only purveyor of Mid-Atlantic seafood at the market, and work only with local waterman and small companies.
This position can be combined with other emplyment opportunities within the company (line-cook/server/etc).
