Project Manager/EstimatorJob DescriptionManage the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects. Review scope of work, engage subcontractors, and coordinate site visits for subcontractors to bid the work. Estimate and bid task order contracts and IDIQs. Schedule projects, including managing subcontractors.Responsibilities
Provide project management for government construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Assist with estimating by reviewing scope of work and aligning subcontractors.
Coordinate with USACE, NAVFAC, and other government agencies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM385, and other safety standards.
Manage RFIs and construction management tasks.
Essential Skills
Minimum 3-7 years construction management experience, preferably on federal government projects.
Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Construction field experience and project management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with USACE, OSHA, EM385, and RFIs.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed at the office in Crofton, MD. Minimal field travel with occasional site visits required in the DC and Baltimore area. The position arises from a joint venture on several MACC programs procured by NAVFAC, and contracts with USACE, Smithsonian, GSA, and FBI in the greater DC areaPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.48 - $57.69/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
