The position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, performance tuning, and capacity management for all organizational systems as directed by management and senior staff. This position will provide 2nd level support and mentoring for Associate Systems Engineers and support staff.
 Designs, installs, configure supports, optimize and administer server and/or network systems and applications.Analyzes project needs/requirements and recommends solutions to enable enterprise integration.Develops and implements systems and/or network standards, processes, and security.Communicates with vendors to obtain configurations and best practice recommendations.Troubleshoots and resolves help desk tickets as assigned.Shares on-call responsibilities for after hours support, as required.Attends vendor training/conferences and presentations for continuing skills development.Trains and mentors team members and other Adtalem Global Education technical resources as necessary.Ellucian Banner with SSB module and Banner Admin Pages expertise preferred.Supports full-stack development efforts - SQL Developer, GCP, and firebase databases preferred.Administers and coordinates client release upgrades for Financial Aid applications- ProSAM expertise preferred.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.Occasional travel to a variety of Adtalem Global Education locations.
